Ingredients
- 5 medium-sized bolled potatoes
- 350 gram ground beef
- 2 medium onions
- 2 gloves of garlic
- 250 gram sliced mushrooms
- 1 bell peppet
- 1 cup cooked green peas
- 2 tablespoon tomato paste
- 100 gram butter
- 2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoon flour
- as desired mozzarella cheese
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- to taste thyme
- as needed brewed saffron

1. Prepare the Mashed Potatoes Grate the boiled potatoes finely, then mix them well with milk, salt, butter, and saffron until fully combined.

2. Make the Béchamel Sauce In a separate pan, sauté the flour and butter until fragrant. Gradually add milk while stirring continuously. Then, add salt, pepper, and thyme, and stir until the sauce thickens.

3. Cook the Meat Mixture Grate the onions and sauté them with ground beef until browned. Add the required seasonings, tomato paste, bell pepper, mushrooms, and green peas. Stir well and cook thoroughly.

4. Assemble the Dish Grease a baking dish and spread the prepared meat mixture evenly across the bottom. Pour the béchamel sauce over it.

5. Form Cheese-Stuffed Potato Balls Shape the mashed potatoes into small balls, stuffing the center with mozzarella cheese. Arrange them neatly over the meat layer. Sprinkle extra mozzarella cheese between the potato balls.

6. Bake Place the dish in the oven at 180°C (356°F) on the middle rack with both upper and lower heat for 30 minutes until golden and bubbly.
