There’s a reason this vintage jug looks like it came straight from a kitchen in the French countryside—that’s exactly where it was made. It was hand-formed from local grey clay in the Loire Valley, then salt-glazed to give it a soft sheen all over. It’ll serve up water, to be sure, but we’re using it for spritzers, lemonade, and fresh bouquets, too. (Good thing that stoneware is extra durable.)
