Mosser Colored Glass Batter Bowl

I've been using this nonstop since purchasing it. It's a great size for most of my baking, not too heavy, and I love that it's deeper than it is wide. The Chelsea blue color is gorgeous in person, and I love how it matches my GIR sprinkles whisks and spatulas.

I bought this to replace my plastic batter bowl I use for pancakes and I have loved it! It doesn't look as turquoise as it does in the photo, but it is a beautiful bowl and I use it all the time. I have an old, difficult kitchen and so I wanted to add some luxury to my cooking even though I have to cook in a dumpy place.

The style and finish make this lovely bowl just glow -- it is so pretty keep out and delightful to use. I had one similar that had been kicking around in my kitchen for years. Sadly worn I kept it because the size and lip are perfect for pouring so many liquids, e. g. a double batch of oven popover batter for example. Glad to find a practical -- and beautiful -- replacement.

A heavy-duty mixing bowl, with proper care, will last beyond my lifetime. I rated it 4 stars because, for me, the photograph appeared a shade lighter than in hand and is a bit greyer than I had expected, but none less is a wonderful piece, and will be keeping it.
