I was happy to find a good deal on a discontinued line from Dansk. I ordered small bowls along with the platter and everything arrived in A+ condition - securely packed in layers, fast shipping, and a great price! I would shop this website again.

Adding to our Dansk collection
These bowls are BIG. Larger than we expected. But we fell in love and used it as large serving bowls. We intended to use this to serve asian noodle dishes, but since they are larger (but beautiful) we found another use for them, as serving bowls.

Great everyday dinnerware
I purchased 3 sets of Kallan and all optional items from Dansk. com before Dansk became part of Food52. I purchased 2 more sets after realizing that I will never find a set like Kallan again

Awesome dishes
I've been looking for a set of dishes forever. These are my first real adult dishes and they do not disappoint. The price is also great. Got 2 sets for a complete set for $200, and they come with a card to fill out that will give you 50% a replacement set if you break them so that's a huge plus bc my husband already broke one of our bowls and we've only had them a couple weeks lol. It is not a product issue, he legit dropped it. Not the end of the world bc they weren't an arm and a leg.

I purchased a service for 8. Unfortunately one set of four is heavily speckled which I assume is the normal pattern and the other is not. It’s very noticeable on the dinner plate. The rest of the set is fine. Very disappointed. Hopefully this can be rectified.

Inconsistent Glaze and Color
I ordered two sets of this dinnerware, one in July and one in November. The inconsistencies in the glazing and coloration are, to me, beyond what one would expect as a normal variation. The second set is lighter, has less speckling, is matte rather than semigloss, has a different rim, and is lighter. I brought my concerns to Food52 but they considered this acceptable variation.
