Welcome to Creative Digest, a weekly peek inside the world of Estro Studio—an interior design and creative agency founded by two women with incredible taste and a love for all things design. Each week, they’re sharing what’s inspiring them right now—from color palettes to flea market finds.
Our favorite time of year: The air gets crisper, the layers get more chic, and suddenly we’re all wanting to hibernate and turn our homes into the coziest places on earth. Phoebe Bridgers is on the stereo, Gilmore Girls reruns play on the TV, and Sundays are reserved for soup simmering on the stove.
Here’s what we’ll be thinking about, dreaming about, and fully leaning into for the next 3 months…
Materials we’re craving
Wool, plaid, leather, suede, mohair, plaster, patchwork, denim…we’re getting chills just imagining this material board.

Our fall color palette
Aubergine, chocolate brown, ochre, rust, and Masterpiece Theater by Backdrop.
What we’re wearing
Boat shoes (Loeffler Randall), camo shorts, oversized knits, and that Sézane suede jacket we can’t stop thinking about.

Our favorite fall traditions
A couple years ago, my boyfriend and I started Soup Sundays: every Sunday we try a new soup recipe and let it simmer all day long. It’s the simplest one-pot dinner and the coziest way to start the week, and honestly, the only thing that gets me through football season. (All that garlic and ginger doesn’t hurt when it comes to fighting off fall colds, either!) —Lily
Movie marathons are my love language. My husband and I pile onto the couch, fire up the projector, and disappear into hours of binge-watching—blankets, popcorn, and zero shame included! —Cait
Seasonal reset rituals
Naturally, this shift in season nudges us to shift our habits too. We’re big believers in seasonal clean-outs—closets, pantries, or both. Donating the things that no longer serve us not only makes room for the new, but also keeps us from hoarding “seasonal” clutter.
The first thing we do? Crack open the windows and let that crisp autumn air rush in. The Germans even have a word for it—lüften—basically your home’s version of a juice cleanse. It’s a tiny ritual, but it feels like hitting reset on your space, your mood, and your energy for the season ahead.

If this didn’t get you craving soup, plaid, and a good rerun marathon…not sure what will.
