It’s fall, which means it’s officially Gilmore Girls season. While the show spans all four seasons, it’s become almost synonymous with crisp air, cozy sweaters, and the smell of pumpkin pancakes wafting from Luke’s Diner (somehow, they always managed to sneak in a full sit-down breakfast before work and school).

Cue the nostalgic montages, the endless coffee refills, and the fall baking inspiration. For many of us, Gilmore Girls isn’t just a show—it’s a seasonal ritual. I’ll admit it: it was the first series I ever truly binge-watched. Rory’s dream of becoming Christiane Amanpour even nudged me toward writing for my school newspaper.

And now, with Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham reuniting on the Emmy red carpet last night (to the delight of fans everywhere), the Gilmore Girls spirit feels stronger than ever. Which makes this the perfect time to revisit Stars Hollow—coffee in hand, snacks on the table.

Here are the foods and drinks inspired by the show that every fan should make at least once:

1. Pumpkin Pancakes

From the iconic fall episode when Luke makes them for Lorelai with cinnamon butter, of course. Peak Stars Hollow autumn.

2. Double-Streusel Coffee Cake

A Luke’s Diner staple (and honestly, the kind of thing you’d want with your third coffee of the day).

3. Lemony Cream Cheese Pancakes with Blueberries

Sookie’s “famous” pancakes, mentioned in Season 3. Sweet, tangy, and very Stars Hollow brunch.

4. Gin Martini

Friday night drinks at Emily and Richard’s. Lorelai will drink any martini, but she’s clear: gin with an olive, please.

5. Classic Diner Burger

Because it feels like they ordered (and ignored) about a hundred of these.

6. Pumpkin Coffee Cake With Maple Glaze

Exactly the kind of thing Luke would pull out from behind the counter to go with their morning coffee.

For all the mornings when it wasn’t Luke’s sit-down breakfast, it was coffee + Pop-Tarts from the toaster. If you've ever wished more filling, this pie has all that and more.

8. Magical Coffee

Okay, this one’s iced, which Lorelai and Rory would probably side-eye, but let’s be real—they’d still drink it.

9. Crispy Cheesy Pan Pizza

Movie night with Dean always called for pizza…plus candy, plus fries, plus more pizza.

10. Coffee Pudding

If it has coffee in it, it’s Gilmore-approved. And I’d like to think Richard and Emily would approve as well.

11. Myrtle's Meatball Recipe

Inspired by the episode where Richard mutters, “They always fight when they have spaghetti and meatballs,” while Lorelai and Rory bickered at dinner. Or when Rory tries to bring home a singular meatball after her date.

12. Apple Cider Five Spice Crullers

Because nothing says Gilmore Girls fall like apples, spice, and something deep-fried.

13. Turkish Coffee

They’d maybe act skeptical, then end up loving it.

14. Apple Turnovers With an All-Cheddar Crust

A nod to a Season 6 episode, when Lorelai debates apple turnovers versus cherry pie.

15. Apple Muffins

Sookie once made Lorelai a batch of muffin tops, which is both endearing and very Stars Hollow.

16. Buttermilk Waffles

Simple, essential, and always on the Gilmore Girls’ table (because somehow it’s always breakfast).
