Pizza Hut’s $2 Personal Pan Pizzas Are Real—and We’re Inspired
No catch? Almost. Here’s the lowdown on the deal.

Move aside Taco Tuesday, we’re honoring another dish. I recently found out that Pizza Hut — yes, the beloved pizza chain — is offering $2 personal pan pizzas on a weekly basis. Let that sink in. And now you’re probably asking all the same questions I had: What’s the catch? Is this even near me? And how is this profitable for Pizza Hut?
But more importantly, you still have a chance to snag this deal since they just extended it past July.
Here’s the backstory: On July 8, Pizza Hut announced that for every Tuesday in July, they’d be offering $2 one-topping personal pan pizzas. Carryout only, no purchase minimum, but “while supplies last,” and there’s a limit of six per customer. Not every location was on board, though. Supposedly this “broke the internet”—site was down, nobody could tell which locations were in, but they seem to have gotten it back up and running. Shoutout to their social media team for responding to hundreds of comments and DMs.
Since extending, it’s appeared they lowered the max order from six to four, which honestly, I kind of love that they had to do that. I’m seeing both numbers but I’d say don’t plan on ordering more than four.
Now, the best part about this whole thing has been the Reddit chatter. If you know me, you know I always check Reddit to get the real scoop. This deal was no exception. I googled it, and boom — thousands of upvotes, hundreds of comments, and people sharing stories about their orders. A lot of them, successful, a lot of them wanting more. Now one person said, “I was handed a bag with these boxes and then the staff casually told me they ran out of personal pan dough, so they gave me a slice of medium pizza instead. Same size, they said.” Another reply: “They should’ve called and asked what I wanted instead — hate when places do that.” Internet gold.
I don’t fully disagree with the complaints, but remember: It’s $2. And they did stipulate it was "until supplies last." Plus, they still gave them pizza.
