Tan Lines & Tile Samples: Summer at Estro Studio
The tones, textures, and trends we’re loving—from paint colors to products.

Welcome to Creative Digest, a weekly peek inside the world of Estro Studio—an interior design and creative agency founded by two women with incredible taste and a love for all things design. Each week, they’re sharing what’s inspiring them right now—from color palettes to flea market finds.
There’s something about summer that just hits differently. Maybe it’s the nostalgia of bike rides after dinner, barefoot days that blur together, or the way the light shifts in the evening. While it’ll never quite be summer break again, we still find ourselves leaning into the season with a creative kind of urgency.
This summer, our days have been drenched in sunlight and covered in tile dust—and we wouldn’t have it any other way. With our heads deep in design projects and our saved folders overflowing, we thought we’d pause and share the textures, tones, and little details that are shaping our moodboards lately.
Here’s a peek into our saved folder
Stained Glass
It lets the light filter in. The warmer it gets, the more we’re drawn to stained glass and colorful windows.

Crochet Anything
There's something undeniably charming about the handmade, slightly imperfect feel of crochet. It softens a space, tells a story, and adds that subtle nostalgia we’re chasing.

Delft tiles
Maybe it’s the BDDW store effect (a gorgeous NYC-based home goods shop), or maybe we’re just forever in love with Delft tiles. We find that the hand-painted, imperfect ones are especially speaking to us right now.

Mosaic Lamps
We’re in our lamp era (well, let’s be honest, we're never not in our lamp era). Specifically: mosaic ones made with embedded clay, glass, or ceramic shards. They feel found, storied, and one-of-a-kind.

Color With Character
Everything earthy and warm. We’re especially excited about our favorite paint color this season—and the combo that’s taken over our interior design brain: chartreuse and brown.

Elaborate Florals
No dinner party necessary—we’re adding elaborate bouquets to every table. Whether it’s a spontaneous grocery store bundle or your neighbor’s overgrown garden, we’re embracing the oversized, messy, lush arrangements this season. Let them take up space. Let them wilt a little. That’s part of the charm.

Produce as Decor
Lately, we’ve been displaying all our produce in antique finds. Turns out, our farmers market hauls aren’t just for cooking—they double as decor, especially when placed in something with a story.
One of our favorite design moments this season? A handful of tomatoes sitting in a $4 ceramic bowl from the flea market.

Final Thoughts
This is where our heads (and hearts) are right now. A little sunburnt. A little tomato-stained. And fully inspired. We’ll be back soon with more things we’re loving, saving, and obsessing over.
Until next time on Creative Digest—xoxo, Estro Studio
